2024年海洋合作发展论坛将于10月24日-25日在山东青岛举办。

The 2024 Global Ocean Development Forum will be held from October 24th to 25th, 2024, in Qingdao, Shandong Province. 

冰岛驻华大使易卜雷先生寄语论坛。在他看来，青岛这座城市非常重要，是冰岛进入中国的的关键门户之一；同时他认为，海洋合作发展论坛的举办意义深远，它涵盖了蓝色经济的各个重要领域，将极大提升青岛和山东在全球蓝色经济版图中的地位。

Thórir Ibsen, the Ambassador of Iceland to China, expressed his thoughts on the forum. He emphasized the importance of Qingdao, stating that it is a crucial gateway for Iceland to enter the Chinese market. Additionally, he noted that the Global Ocean Development Forum has far-reaching significance as it encompasses all the key aspects of the blue economy. He believes that the forum will greatly enhance Qingdao's and Shandong's prominence on the global blue economy map.

大使还分享了冰岛在可持续蓝色经济发展方面的经验，尤其冰岛通过科学资源管理、可转让捕捞配额和透明监管机制，建立了世界上最先进的可持续渔业系统，并催生了高科技水产加工业，充分利用捕捞资源，推动了创新和经济增长。

Mr. Thórir Ibsen also shared Iceland's experiences in sustainable blue economy development, highlighting how Iceland has built one of the world's most advanced sustainable fisheries systems through scientific resource management, transferable fishing quotas, and transparent regulatory mechanisms. This system has also fostered the growth of a high-tech seafood processing industry that fully utilizes fishing resources, driving both innovation and economic growth.
