首届联合国“海洋十年”海洋城市大会将于2025年2月25日—27日在青岛西海岸新区嘉年华大酒店举办，大会由联合国教科文组织政府间海洋学委员会、青岛市人民政府主办，青岛西海岸新区管委、“海洋十年”国际合作中心承办，主题为“海洋让城市更美好”。

The First Ocean Decade International Coastal Cities Conference will be held from February 25 to 27, 2025 at the Carnival Hotel in Qingdao West Coast New Area. The conference is hosted by the city of Qingdao Municipality in collaboration with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO, organized by Qingdao West Coast New Area Management Committee and Ocean Decade International Cooperation Center, China. The theme of the conference is: "Better Ocean, Better City."

本次大会是联合国“海滨之城”平台正式启动后首个重大活动，也是2025年联合国海洋大会的会前特别活动。大会旨在凝聚海洋城市及各利益攸关方关于海洋城市与海洋科学发展的共识为目标，通过呼吁更多的海洋城市、港口、“海洋十年”行动和其他利益攸关方加入和支持“海滨之城”平台，加强知识交流和经验分享，推动建立新的伙伴关系，共同设计和提供基于科学的海洋城市可持续发展解决方案，促进全球对话和实践。

This conference marks the first major event since the official launch of the "Cities with the Ocean" platform and serves as a pre-event for the 2025 UN Ocean Conference. The goal of the conference is to unite coastal cities and stakeholders around a shared understanding of the development of coastal cities and ocean science. It aims to encourage more coastal cities, ports, Decade Actions, and other related stakeholders to join and support the "Cities with the Ocean" platform. The event will strengthen knowledge exchange and experience sharing, promote the establishment of new partnerships, and jointly design and deliver science-based sustainable development solutions for coastal cities, fostering global dialogue and action.
