2024年海洋合作发展论坛将于10月24日-25日在山东青岛举办。

The 2024 Global Ocean Development Forum will be held from October 24th to 25th, 2024, in Qingdao, Shandong Province.

Mr. Jonny Nylund expressed high praise for Qingdao, describing it not only as a city of scenic beauty but also as a crucial hub and bridge for Sino-Finnish maritime cooperation. He emphasized that Qingdao plays a key role in the global blue economy, with its unique geographical location and rich maritime heritage making it an ideal location for fostering cooperation between China and Finland. Mr. Nylund believes that through the Global Ocean Development Forum, Qingdao will further solidify its important position in the global maritime economy.

他进一步指出，中芬两国在海洋可持续发展领域的合作潜力巨大，特别是在智能航运、绿色能源、海洋科技等方面，双方可以通过此次论坛展开深入的交流与合作，共同探索新的发展路径。倪隆德先生希望，通过中芬两国的紧密合作，能够为应对全球海洋环境挑战、推动海洋经济的可持续发展做出积极贡献，携手开创更加绿色和繁荣的未来。

He also pointed out that there is tremendous potential for cooperation between China and Finland in the field of sustainable ocean development, especially in areas such as smart shipping, green energy, and marine technology. He hopes that this forum will provide an opportunity for both countries to engage in in-depth exchanges and collaboration, exploring new development pathways together. Mr. Nylund is optimistic that through close cooperation between China and Finland, they can contribute positively to addressing global marine environmental challenges and promoting the sustainable development of the blue economy, paving the way for a greener and more prosperous future.
